Five in a row games! These games are perfect for partner work, small group, or guided practice with a teacher. Students will love playing these and trying to get five in a row before their component does!
ADD IT UP: Students will use 2 dice, roll the dice, add the numbers together and find that number on their board. If the number isn’t on their board, or is already taken, they lose their turn.
TEEN NUMBERS: Students will use teen number cards provided and take turns picking a teen number, finding it on their board, and covering it with their game piece.
SHAPES: Students will use provided spinner to spin a shape, find it on their board, and mark it with their game piece.
STRETCHY WORDS: Two versions of the game board are included for variety. Students will use provided word cards to pick from, blend the sounds together to make a word, find that picture on their board and cover it with their game piece.
LETTER FIND Students can use provided lowercase or uppercase letter cards to pick from. Identify the matching letter on their board, and cover it with their game piece. An alternative to this, once students are further along, the teacher can say a word and students have to locate the beginning or ending sound and mark it with their game piece.
