Included in this packet are 15 fix it up sentences worksheets (86 sentences total) designed for emergent readers to practice capitalizing the first letter of a sentence, the pronoun I, names, days, months, and holiday, as well as end punctuation and commas in a list! I’ve used mainly Dolch pre-primer to second grade sight words, as well as fall words and November-theme words like Thanksgiving, Pilgrim, Mayflower, etc.
The worksheets can be used individually or put together with a title page, two contents check list pages, and back cover page to make a cute little fix it up sentences book. Simply print on either side, staple the top, middle, and bottom of the left side of the pages, and the book is all set up! An optional capitalization and punctuation rules bookmark is also included, so that the kids can have helpful rules reference if they need it.
