Students practice proofreading for capitalization and end punctuation with these 5 sets of writing conventions practice sheets.
This resource includes 5 sets of practice.
• Snow Day, In the Garden, and Camping - 6 sentences for each set. Students read each sentence and decide if it is correct or incorrect. If incorrect, discuss in small group, partners, or a whole group what needs to be fixed. Errors include: first letter of the first word in the sentence is not capitalized, the pronoun I is not capitalized, or no end punctuation mark.
• On the Farm - 12 sentences. Students read each sentence write the missing end punctuation mark.
• At the Beach - 12 sentences. Students read two sentences and highlight the correct one.
