Flags of North America

In the lesson, Flags of North America, students explore key geometric concepts through the investigation of the design and symbols of various North American flags.
1) Identify circles, squares, triangles, rectangles and stars in flags.
2) Make connections between different flag designs from North America.
3) Interpret data in a graph to draw conclusions.
