The vocabulary for the first 45 chapters of Pharr's Homeric Greek text book. These were made from the public domain version of the book written in 1920 and available on numerous websites for those wishing to learn the ancient Greek of Homer.
These printable flashcards print 2x5 on 8.5x11" paper. The Greek word appears on one side, the definition on the other. They are sorted by chapter. (Note that chapters 1,2 and 7 do not have vocabulary words).
To use these cards, you will need either a printer that prints on both sides of the page or you will need to manually print one side, flip, then print the other side. Also, you will need to cut these or use perforated heavy stock paper.
Pharr's book is a wonderful way to read the Iliad for yourself in its original Greek. I hope you will find these flash cards useful.
There are 669 flashcards in all.
