I use these in a center during my Fact Work time. The children can use counters or a number line to help solve for the sums. I hold the children accountable by having them record 10 facts they solved on the recording sheet.
Teacher Tip for multiple sets:
If you are printing multiple sets, a good way to make sure they don’t get mixed up is to color code each set with a sticker. Another way is to mark each piece with a star or dot in a colored marker to keep the sets separate. Additionally, you could print each set on colored paper. I use lighter colors so the graphics can still be seen well. Then when (not if ) you find a part of the set on the floor, one look lets you and the children know by color or sticker which set it belongs to. Have fun!
