Use these Three Part Flashcards to teach the picture with the word. Then cut away word from picture to see if the student can match word to picture. Also if child is verbal, use as an assessment to see if the student can identify just the picture with a verbal response. This process can be used with any new vocabulary that you want to introduce to your student.
The list is as follows:
faucet, fork, spoon, paintbrush, hairbrush, toothbrush, pear, apple, banana, strawberry, grapes, orange, hot air balloon, rocks, sand, cake, cookie, cracker, pretzel, bread, French fries, cheetah, antelope, tortoise, chimpanzee, gorilla, toucan, frog, snake, lizard, cow, pig, rooster, horse, sheep, and dog.
