Here's an alternative to the Flat Stanley project...for SCIENCE! Meet Flat Albert...Einstein!
Students will research different discoveries in different fields of science that have occurred all around the world. This project is great for a take-home assignment or a classroom research activity.
As students research, they will gather important facts to record on the scroll templates. All their findings will be placed in a student-made book. Students will use the provided world map to mark where their discoveries were found. On each book page, students will also decorate a Flat Albert and use drawings and magazine clippings to show a visual representation of the discovery.
This project contains the student project directions sheet, world map, 16 research scrolls, and 18 Flat Albert templates. Flat Albert was hand-drawn by the author of Sparkling Science!
As an extension, try getting your students to take actual pictures of their Flat Albert doing science at home!
