Flex your craftiness as well as your speech and language muscles with Flexagons for Speech and Language!

Included in the download:
pg. 1: Cover Page

pg. 2: Table of Contents and additional instructions

pg. 3 – 4: Assembly instructions and example images

pg. 5: Blank Flexagon template for open-ended fun.

pg. 6 – 33: Flexagon templates for articulation. Templates are included for the following phonemes: K, G, SH, CH, J, TH, S, L, R, S-Blends, L-Blends, and R-Blends. These templates have words on them targeting each phoneme in the initial position. Once the Flexagons are folded and assembled, students can use the words that show to practice their target sounds at the word or sentence level. For an extra challenge, try to form a complete sentence containing all three words (i.e. “Sarah sits on the sidewalk.”). Some of the words may also present an opportunity to discuss new vocabulary terms before using the words in a sentence. Print templates as needed for students.

pg. 34 – 35: Credits, Terms of Use, and Additional Information
