Being flexible and Adaptable looks simple but it is not, not at least for our children. Guardians and teachers work hard to give our children routines, a regular schedule and regular expectations to make their lives predictable, stable, safe and secure. In addition to providing our children all of these, how can we prepare them for the ups and downs of life?
This book talks about realistically reading the positive and negative sides of a coming change. On the positive side, it emphasizes on the fact that change is an opportunity to expand one’s experience. It is life-enhancing, renewing, and essential to wellbeing. When it presents obstacles, it means being proactive and confident that one can affect one’s fate for the better. The book ends with interesting situations put forward for children to react to and this is the best part of the book.
