This project or activity is designed to review previous taught nonfiction skills. It is also a great opportunity for students to use research skills and compare texts. Students learn to gather information from nonfiction books and/or educational websites. They are allowed to choose how to present their information. This is an engaging project that integrates multiple subjects while encouraging creativity and choice.
Grade level: 3rd-5th Grade
Standards: Multiple English Language Arts and science standards are used for this project.

Students may choose from tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, flooding, drought, volcanoes or blizzards.
Target: I can combine from two or more texts and write about the subject.
