Start your year off right with these scripted flexible seating lesson plans. There is a lesson and short activity specifically for each type of seating option that you have available in your classroom. Lessons have an emphasis on modeling and gradually become shorter as students master flexible seating expectations. I provided a mentor text to use for kindergarten through second grade. Separate mentor text and discussion questions were also provided for third grade and beyond. Use the spread sheet to help organize your students to ensure everyone tries each seat the first week.
