I have done flexible seating in my classroom for the past two years. I love using prompts like these to ease my students into the flexible seating options. I have found that beginning with prompts allows them to try new options they may not have, as well as form new friendships with peers they may not have otherwise chosen to sit with.
These can also be a great tool any time your class needs a booster on flexible seating expectations or after a break.
