Flexible seating is wonderful, but in secondary classrooms it is not always conducive for classroom management. In my classroom, we go back and forth between flexible seating days and assigned seating days. All I do is flip my sign!

This resource informs your students as they walk in whether they should sit in their assigned seats or whether they can move around to flexible seating. It includes printing directions so you can make your own double-sided sign. Use of a color printer is encouraged.
