This is a complete set of questions (308) to provoke and test students' learning when studying the novel by Barbara Kingsolver.
This product features a number of different types and styles of questions. Some focus on reading and basic fact-finding. Some seek opinions from students on action or character, and encourage them to justify those opinions. Others ask students to explain terms, or words from the text. By paying close attention to the text, students should be able to answer all questions.
The purpose of their completing this assignment is to guide students, and draw their attention to significant events, facts, and themes. Students who can answer these questions will have an excellent understanding of the novel.
I usually give each student a copy of the questions when we begin the novel, and then use as homework, classwork etc.. Their answers can be used later by them as a revision guide to the novel.
