This is an engaging and hands on project, suitable for students of all abilities. You can use this activity for any flight, physics or scientific method lesson, or it can be used as a Friday afternoon activity. I have used this resource with my grade 6-12 science classes.
The purpose of this project is to design and construct a rotocopter that will take the longest time to fall to the ground and will remain intact for three trials.
