This activity is research-based and is designed to encourage students to realize how technology has progressed by examining aerodynamics and drag. Students choose one form of technology such as cars, airplanes, etc. They research online about this technology in order to answer the questions included. At some points, students are required to draw changes that have occurred in the technology they are researching.
My students have completed this research using either computers or iPads. Depending on the grade level, my classes have taken between one and two days to complete this work.
I have left this work with supply teachers in the past and students have been able to complete the activity without issues.
