Note Taking Foldables - 24 No Prep Booklets!

This Note Taking Flip Flap Booklet Collection contains 24 No Prep, open ended booklets that can be used with any note taking assignment! These flip flap books are created with Common Core standards in mind, requiring critical thinking and elaboration of ideas. Students are required to respond in a variety of creative ways, including writing, doodling, analyzing, and more! The activities are ideal for individual and collaborative work.

Each Flip Flap book contains an entire page of space for student work, but the great thing about flip flap books is that by simply folding the page, they tend to be less intimidating and more user friendly at times than traditional worksheets. Also, there are optional lined pages provided for teachers who’d like to copy lines on the back of the flip flap books, so the lines appear on the inside where students write.

Each Flip Flap book is open ended, which means it can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the goals you set for each assignment. General instructions are provided, but may be easily reworded (by the teacher, verbally) to meet your classroom needs.

Reading Foldables - 26 No Prep Mini-Booklets!

This Reading Flip Flap Foldables set contains 26 no prep, open ended mini booklets that can be used with any fiction or nonfiction text! The half page, mini book format provides enough space for students in upper elementary and above to respond without wasting paper.

Students are often excited to include lots of great details when they are provided with mini books. Mini books and flip flap books tend to be less intimidating and more user friendly at times than traditional worksheets. Also, there are optional lined pages provided for teachers who’d like to copy lines on the back of the flip flap books, so the lines appear on the inside where students write. Students who need a little more room may use both the left and right side of the flaps.

Each Flip Flap book is open ended, which means it can be used in a variety of ways, depending on the goals you set for each assignment. General instructions are provided, but may be easily reworded (by the teacher, verbally) to meet your classroom needs.

These Flip Flap books are great to use during reading mini lessons, independent reading, with small groups, for homework, and more! They may also be attached to interactive notebooks by gluing the back of the booklet to the page. They fit approximately 2 to a page.

These Flip Flap books are great to use during reading lessons, independent reading, with small groups, for homework, and more!

There are optional lined pages provided for teachers who’d like to copy lines on the back of the flip flap books, so the lines appear on the inside where students write. You may choose to have lines on the left, right, or on both sides. If you choose to place lines on the left or right, the other side may be used for illustrations. The foldables may be attached to interactive notebooks by gluing the back of the booklet to the notebook page. Since these are full page foldables, they may need to be reduced in size just a bit to fit some notebooks.
