Creating, Reading & Comparing Numbers
From Hundreds to Hundred Thousands Game
Students flip a coin to determine whether they are trying to make the greatest or smallest number possible. Heads = greatest number and tails = smallest number. Players take turns drawing cards and placing them on their board to create a number. They will need to use strategy because once they place a number, it can’t be changed. Then they must read their numbers and compare to see whose is larger/smaller. The winner of the round is the person with the largest/smallest number and the winner of the game is the person who wins 5 rounds first.
