This flipping activity (kids still love doing it!) comes with 4 versions, 2-player, 3-player and large group/whole class. Offers student choice as well. It's a very simple activity for students as a whole class fitness warm-up or instant activity or part of stations/centers. Can be printed for each student, made into a poster, displayed on ipads/chromebooks, or use a TV/smartboard or projector for large display. Certain pages have results with images for language learners of all ages.
You can either do this as a whole class (works with any number of students) or large groups...or students find a partner(s) and on their or your "Go!" signal, they each flip a cone (or any item you have that's similar, even 1/3 filled water bottles), which they then use the results of to determine which exercise they need to do. A very engaging way to practice fitness skills plus a bit of social-emotional (SEL) interactions. It can last about 10 minutes as a separate activity.
