I've found that number lines are one of the most effective ways to teach rounding, especially to visual learners. So here's a fun fall-themed center to help you really reinforce this key skill!
The directions are easy to follow: students flip number cards to create a 2 or 3 digit number. Using the number lines provided, students practice rounding the numbers they've created. For your convenience, I've included 3 sets of number lines. The first two sets count by 10's and 100's. The third set is blank if you prefer to have your students label their number lines on their own.
These are reusable! (Have your kiddos cover with counters.) Print and laminate for lots of uses throughout the fall!
