This math game is fun to play on the floor. Lay the polar bears on the floor. Have the child select a card and count the pictures. Then, have the child place the card under the polar bear according to how many objects were counted. For example: If the card has two mittens they place the card under the polar bear with the number 2. If they counted four snowflakes they will place the card under the polar bear with the number 4. Continue until all 16 cards have been placed. Numbers used in this unit are 1-4.
