FS Dailies can help our students understand the new Florida Standards Assessment and the language and format of the test. I am creating a series of Dailies for every standard for 3rd, 4th, and 5th primarily and will post them as I finish them. So come back and check the new dailies to help your students understand these new problems and be successful in the FSA this year!
This is a 19 page document that reviews MAFS.5.NBT1.1 Recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left. Item samples have been created by reviewing many samples from the FSA practice test, The University of Arizona, and North Carolina sample tests and standards among other sources.
There is a trifold in the last 2 pages of the document with all the problems so your students can work with you in their own copy and glue it in their interactive notebooks if you choose. You could project the FS Daily on an interactive board or Elmo so you can all work together.
Hope you find this resource helpful as we are all trying to learn the new Florida Standards and the format of the new test this year. Thank you for downloading!
