Welcome to Art Bursts! A simple way to incorporate art and art history into the classroom.
This lesson is an Art Burst - Studio edition. These lessons can be taught by a classroom teacher, substitute teacher, parent or volunteer. Basic art supplies and easy instructions make these successful in any classroom. They can be taught in a short time frame and are appropriate for elementary grades. Your students will create stunning art to decorate classroom walls for spring.

-a brief bio of the artist - including discussion questions
-guidelines for a simple art project - including visuals
-a bulletin board heading for display

Art materials needed:
-white paper cut in a 6 x 6" square
-black sharpie or marker
