Two activities in one.
Your children will get an up close view of many flowers through the beautiful colored photographs in this bingo game.
Use this game as an extension activity as well by setting it out on a table top, allowing the children to sort and match the photos on their own.
Print all cards
Cut "call cards" into individual cards
Give each student a bingo card and a set of markers (checkers, beans, pennies etc.)
Students cover pictures as the call card is shown
Play until 3 in a row, 3 in a column, or the entire card is covered
Print 2 copies of pages 2-5 (call cards)
Cut into individual pictures
Mix up cards, place in rows, face down.
Have students take turns turning over two cards.
If they find a match, they "keep" the cards, if they do not find a match, they return the cards to their original locations (do not rearrange the cards in the middle of the game)
**For an easier version of the game:
Place one card from each pair face up. Encourage children to show which picture they are going to match. They should then turn over 1 card.
If they found the match, they "keep" the pair.
This Activity Includes:
8 game cards
4 pages of call cards (33 different flower pictures)
*Checkers/Markers not included
