In this lab students will dissect a flower to learn about the different parts of a flower.

In this lab, students will identify and describe the following seven flower parts:
Higher-order questioning is included throughout the packet. Students will be asked to compare and contrast the sepal and petal; to draw and label what they observe; and to make inferences about why flower parts look the way they do.
Instruction for how to clean up after the flower dissection ends are also included.
