Here is a great way for your Kindergarten & 1st grader to practice addition and subtraction. Just print, laminate, and cut apart individual flower “stalks”. Using a dry erase marker have your student fill in the leaves to make the number bonds.
This activity works great as part of a spring math center as it can be used again and again to help your students achieve proficiency.
Use numbers up through 10 for Kindergarten (or farther if your students are ready) and 11-32 for your 1st grader.
