Flower Power Math is a dice counting game for Pre-K and Kindergarten students. The mat features green flower stems that are waiting to bloom!
Make four copies of the mat and laminate for extra durability. Use the mat with dice, pom-poms, or flower-shaped buttons. Students take turns rolling the dice and adding "flowers" to their gardens. The first person to cover every stem is the winner. Then they can play again! As a differentiation you may use the addition and subtraction cards in the PDF instead of dice.
I use this game in one of my Guided Math stations. It is a fun way to teach one-to-one correspondence as well as vocabulary ex. more, less, equal to, same, different.
