Flower Theme Preschool Pack– Pack includes word cards to create sentences (I see a blue flower, etc), “I have…, Who has…” color game, counting cards, and upper case/lower case letter match cards.
Word Cards – Students create or complete given sentences using picture clues. Pack includes enough for 12 sentences. Colors include red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, grey, black, white, and rainbow. Sentence states: I see a pink flower.
“I Have, Who Has…?” Color Game (11 cards) – Deal cards to all players in small or large group. The first player chooses any card and reads it. For example “I have RED, Who has BLUE”. The caller discards his card in a pile (discard basket), other students look at their cards and determine who has BLUE. It is now that students turn to be the caller. And the game continues until all cards are discarded. This activity works well at transition times, each student receives one card, and when their color is called, they may line up or go to another activity.
Counting Cards: Students can use cards to order, or match numerical symbol with a set of objects. I have my students attach the coordinating number of bee clothespins (instructions for making bee clothespin was found at Sugaraunts.com).
Upper case/lower case letter match: Students use marker or clothespin to designate the correct coordinating lower case letter to the given uppercase letter.
Tips: Print all pages on cardstock and laminate. Cut into separate cards to be used according to game/activity. This pack compliments units on color and flowers.
