Description
Fluency: A Set of 100 VOICE CARDS (Fluency and Centers)
2 Sets of Voice Card Sizes Available:
* 4 per sheet (Quarter/Sheet)
* a DOZEN per sheet (12/Sheet)
Example on How to Use the Voice Task Cards:
1. Cut out all of the cards.
2. Put the cards in something like a small paper bag. Student(s) draws a card from the bag to practice fluency.
3. The student reads like the selected voice card. Perhaps have toy microphones, wands or pointers, stuffed animal to read to, etc. They may read to self, partner read, etc.
Students love this activity! Be sure to model what you expect. Practice with each other in class, too, so the students then feel comfortable and have practiced the expectations.
Special Note: May not be suitable for your first graders.

Referee, Angry referee
Vampire, Scared, Ghost, Werewolf, Monster, Blob, Frankenstein

Laminate the sheets to reuse especially for small group or tutoring lessons! Keep selected voice cards in a baggy so that the materials are handy and ready for your lessons. And no extra copies need to be made and laminated cards stay in good shape!
