Fluency charts build reading fluency through repeated reading. Students are repeatedly exposed to sight words and phonetic "chunks" in a short period of time. I use the charts for interventions, small group, and whole group. They may also be used as homework and a word work activity.
This pack contains 60 fluency charts - 1 phonics chart and 1 sight word chart for 30 weeks. The pack also contains a recording graph and a recording chart for tracking progress. Directions for use are also included.
This pack correlates with Macmillan McGraw-Hill Treasures, First Grade. I created these sight word phrases for my own classroom use. My district uses the McGraw-Hill Treasures (Louisiana) reading series. Therefore, the pacing of the sight words is aligned with that series. To see if this will fit your own curriculum, please view the pacing guide in the preview.
