Use these dice games as a fun way to practice reading phrases and sentences fluently
You could use them as a center or in a small group or for partner work or independent work. They could even be used as fun homework assignment.
Students will roll the dice and then use taught fluency strategies (such as stopping at punctuation, reading with expression, reading all the way through the sentence) to read the phrase or sentence.
You could also have students read them different ways (in a cowboy voice, in a scary voice, in a sad voice, in an excited voice, etc).
If this is at a center, you could laminate them or put them in a sleeve.
These 10 games use Primer level and Pre-Primer words with a few extra words to make sentences.
