This is a great way for students to practice fluency. They not only have to read the phrase that they want from someone else, but the other player has to skim through all their cards (with phrases) to figure out if they have the matching cards. It's a really fun game and the student don't even though they are learning to read faster!
This download includes 24 sets of games. Each game has 50 playing cards. Also included is a "back" for each set so you can't see through the cards, if you are interested. I printed mine on different colored card stock so I didn't use the back of cards.
I really enjoy this product in my class and hope that you and your students do as well! It is easy and simple to assemble and can be brought out and used anytime- especially for early finishers or as a fluency intervention or an incentive ;)
Feel free to download the preview of the first set of phrases and try them out!
