These graphs were born after I found it difficult to use most of the fluency graphs that I found. I was spending more time teaching the kiddos how to "read" a graph that was built in 10 or 20 block increments. We would struggle to know "exactly" how many words had been read because the marks were "estimates" of the number. These graphs have one block for each number. That way, all the kiddos have to do is find the number on the graph that matches the number of words they read. There's no guessing and no estimating on the graph. These graphs also include a "key" at the bottom to mark the difference between cold and hot timings. You receive 7 graphs so you can customize them for your children need, starting with a graph that reads from 10-70 wpm all the way up to a graph that reads from 70-130 wpm. I use these daily with the kiddos in my intervention groups. They are kid-friendly and they enjoy "customizing" the graphs with their own colors.
