This document is a great tool to use to keep track of student progress in fluency. It can be used either in class formally or at home on leveled reading. The listener times the reader for one minute and deducts words read incorrectly. The rubric gives great guidance for a mini-conference of what students must work on for improvement.
This packet includes the logs with rubrics for grades 1 - 8 so you can really see the scope and sequence of growth. Various grade levels can also be used for those students above or below grade level so you can communicate to parents what grade level (and part of the year) your student is reading at.
Good luck and enjoy!
