This chart is a good resource to have available when working 1:1 or in a small group. Choose 5 easily confused words or concepts and rewrite (or type) those words repeatedly in random order. Time how long it takes the students to read those words, noting mistakes. This same sheet can be used for repeated readings during the same session, pre-post informal assessment, or each day when you work with the student. It's a fun and quick way to practice confusing concepts!
