This fluency pack is a common core aligned product. It aligns to the second set of standards in the Reading: Foundational Skills domain, which includes RF2.4, RF.2.4a, RF.2.4.b, and RF.2.4.c. The second set of standards for Foundational Skills in 2nd grade is fluency which, for second graders, is the understand of reading with expression, accuracy, and rate.
In this Fluency pack, you will receive:
-Pre-Assessment and Post-Assessment (you will use the same test)
-3 Mini Lessons
-7 Hands-on Centers
-10 Fluency Passages with comprehension questions
The thing that makes this fluency pack different from the other Foundational Skills packs for 2nd grade is that is has fluency passages. For second grade, I chose to use Dolch's Second Grade list and Fry's 3rd 100 sight words and Fry's 3rd 100 fluency phrases.
Check out the preview to see all the pages you're getting!
**The 1st grade RF1.4 Fluency version of this product is very similar. The lesson and center activities are the same, but they use different sight words and fluency phrases. The fluency passages are totally different and have different reading levels. The worksheets are the same structure, but use a different set of sight words. The first grade version uses Dolch's first grade sight words, Fry's 2nd 100 words and fluency phrases, and has a lower reading level.**
