Having an ID bracelet is an important emergency safety precaution for both verbal and non-verbal students of all ages.
Providing safety information like name, address, phone number is obviously very important which is why it's on nearly every checklist of the communication basics. However, it seems such a waste of time and "memory space" drilling into our students when it could end up never being functional if they never get lost, plus phone numbers and addresses change. Doesn't it make more sense for them to have medical ID bracelets?
