This mini-course has 10 engaging activities that enhance one’s ability to focus and provide practice in listening skills. The ability to focus and listen well enhances aptitude for learning and supports the maintenance of healthy relationships.
Hand Drum and Train Your Brain provide practical exercises that help develop the ability to direct the mind’s focus. People to People and Be a Tree both use balancing to teach participants what it means to be grounded.
Which Way? and FOCUS link focus to listening, while Brick Wall and Referee present attentive listening through entertaining tasks. Trip to the Moon consolidates what has been learned so far in the form of a classic game. Musical Mandalas gives additional practice by challenging the participants to focus on a task at length.
