These Fold & Sort activities are such a fun way to keep your students engaged while still assessing their knowledge.
These NO-PREP resources only require a little cutting, gluing, and folding before students can sort pictures and words into the paper pocket-books they have created!
The Long E and Short E sorting pieces include pictures and words - you can mix them up or use one or the other!
I love using these as hands-on assessments for students. It makes assessing less of a boring chore and more of an engaging, hands on task (while also targeting direction following & fine motor skills)! You can print on colored paper for more visual interest, or make them black and white and have your students color as an additional step.
