As part of my week as a Featured SLP Materials Club seller, this product will be 50% off for 24 hours.

So many of my students are working on following 1-step, 2-step, and 3-step directions. This fun cat-themed activity targets following directions goals through playing a game. This puuurrrrfect activity is so fun that students won't even realize they are working!

Contents:
♦ 35 Following 1-step Directions Cards
♦ 35 Following 2-step Directions Cards
♦ 35 Following 2-step Conditional Directions Cards
♦ 35 Following 2-step Temporal Directions Cards
♦ 35 Following 3-step Directions Cards
♦ 1 Set of “Take Another Turn” Cards (aka Extra Cards)
♦ 1 Set of “Lose a Card” Cards (aka Extra Cards)

Instructions:
♦ Decide which set of following directions cards you will be using with your group of students.
♦ Print in color, laminate for durability, and cut apart.
♦ Mix in the extra cards with the set you’re using with your students – the “Take Another Turn” cards and the “Lose a Card” cards.
♦ Place all of the cards in the center of the table face down.
♦ On his or her turn, the student should select a card and give it to the SLP to read aloud.
♦ The student must follow the direction correctly to keep the card. If the student does not follow the direction accurately, the card must be returned to the pile in the center of the table for another try.
♦ If the student selects a “Take Another Turn” card, then he or she has a chance to take another turn.
♦ If the student selects a “Lose a Card” card, then he or she must give one of his or her following directions cards to another player.
♦ Note: Once an “extra card” is played, discard that card to the side. That card is then out of play.
♦ The student with the most following directions cards in front of him or her at the end of the game is the winner.

My students have loved this cat-themed following directions activity, and I hope yours do as well!
