Quick Strips for Following Directions is the perfect interactive grab and go tool for following directions! Designed for use during speech and language therapy, RtI, or as a center activity for students capable of independent work.
•Targets include 4 types of directions: basic, sequential, quantitative, and temporal. The basic directions include one to six elements (such as color, size, and location), increasing in complexity as more elements are added. The Sequential directions include both two and three step directions. The quantitative directions includes the concepts of one, all, some, both, or, either, except, not, and don't. The temporal directions include the concepts of before and after.
•The following is included:
-Cover page strips for each section, broken down by type of direction and number of elements or steps
-92 strips for basic directions (one to six elements)
-45 strips for sequential directions (two and three steps)
-47 strips for quantitative directions (includes concepts of one, all, some, both, or, either, except, not, and don't)
-39 strips for temporal directions (includes concepts of before and after)
-1 data tracking form
•Directions: Print and cut out the strips. I suggest laminating for durability and to be able to wipe and reuse. Use a hole punch on the gray circle of each strips and place on a binder ring if desired. It is recommended dry erase markers are used with this product so it can be used multiple times. As an alternative to cutting, laminating, and assembling, individual pages could be placed in sheet protectors or dry erase pockets and used with dry erase markers.
