“Oh What Fun it is to Learn in a Fun and Creative Way!
Are you and your students ready for the fun holidays?
This unit is a great way to teach children how to read and follow a set of multi step directions, and teach/review prepositions, prepositional phrases, and adjectives.
As students read each set of multi step directions, they will have fun drawing and coloring the page as directed. They will be immersed in directional words, be able to identify prepositions in the directives, identify multiple adjectives, and receive a score for a job well done!
These pages can be used as an assessment, teaching in small groups, homework, literacy centers, holiday activities and much more!
October: The Pumpkin Patch
November: Happy Harvest
December: Santa Surprise
January: OH, Snow Happy
The ten multi step directions can be used as a rubric. Points for each directive can be deducted as needed. Each line of multi step directions could be worth 10 points each. Students could circle or highlight each preposition and/or adjective found in each directive.
Relax, have fun, and allow the unit to do the teaching!
