A handy program to use in the classroom, in speech pathology intervention or as a home program for parents to complete with their children. Some of the directions are in line with those of the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals: 4 (CELF:4) and are ideal for those students who have found the 'Concepts and Directions' subtest tricky. The instructions begin as simple single commands but increase in length and complexity as the student progresses. The following concepts are included in the program in 1, 2 and 3 stage commands:
* prepositions: around, next to, between,
* descriptions and functions
* ordinal : first, second, last, middle,
* concepts: top/bottom
A list of strategies for language processing is included to aid parents and teachers in optimizing the student's listening environment.
A great program to use in a small group and ideal for parent helpers to use if you are lucky enough to have some in your class.
