~ Food Chains and Webs Fact Books: 2 options (11 half sheets)
* One is a standard take home book.
* One has blank spaces to be filled in by students.

~ KWL Worksheet: Know, Want to Know, Learned

~ Cut, Paste, & Label Trophic Pyramid and Organisms

~ Grammar Worksheet Extension Activity and Answer key

Teaching Tips:
We complete the Food Chains and Webs KWL: know and want to know sections before I read them the fact book. Then, I like to read the standard version of the Food Chains & Webs book to the class using our elmo. I pass out the books with the blank spaces, we re-read as a class, and fill in the missing words to help with comprehension. Finally, I have them complete their KWL charts, grammar worksheets, and cut/paste/label activity. (The grammar sheet would also work great as homework, and review if you talk about it as a class the next day.)

***Even more extension activities include:
~ Having students cut and paste organisms to stacking cups and demonstrate their knowledge of the trophic pyramid with a hands on stacking activity.
~Using the organisms cut/paste page, arrows, and a blank sheet of paper to create food webs.

**No need to purchase this item individually, if you purchase the bundle above.
