This is a worksheet made for my kindergarteners when we experimented putting drops of food coloring in the water of white carnations. There is a space for students to draw what they see on day 1 (white flowers in colored water), and day 2 (flowers changed the same color as the water). There are also three questions with writing space below: What did we do? What do you predict? and What happened?
A very fun experiment to do with young students in the spring or while learning about colors or plants. You can even split a stem in two and put each in two separate colored waters! My students loved this lesson and I hope yours do too.
