Are you looking for a fun and hands-on way to let your little learners practice counting up to 10. This resource comes with 6 different sets of food counting clip cards in full color and ink saving black and white. You can use these clip cards to help your students use one to one correspondence while counting the items on the card, then they can work on their fine motor skills as they clip the correct answer. Clip cards are so much more fun than a work sheet and can be easily stored as a great grab n' go center or even as an early finisher activity.

These centers were designed to fit in photo storage boxes. Mine are the Recollections Photo Storage boxes from Michaels. (You can also store them in sandwich sized baggies if you don't have the task boxes)

Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
