Sorting Food Groups
A fun, unique, teacher-made game!
Kids will enjoy sorting a variety of foods into fun picnic baskets with food group names.
Each game will include 35 fun, colorful, small pictures of foods. Some foods may include multiple food groups (such as a hamburger). This is intentional to motivate students to use higher level thinking skills.
Also included is a small, laminated, envelope to store the 35 small picture pieces. The envelope has a small piece of Velcro for convenient closure and storage.
The number sentence strips and number pieces will be stored in a 10.5’’ x 5.5’’ plastic envelope for lasting durability. The large envelope will vary in color and may not match the color in the picture. However, all large storage envelopes will have a Velcro or string closure.
The outside of the plastic storage envelope will have kid-friendly directions with picture icons to help with understanding.
The picture pieces are printed on heavy-duty cardstock with colored ink AND laminated! The cardstock may vary in color, but will always be heavy-duty and laminated!
All games are great for use as independent work centers, working with a parent-helper, working with a paraprofessional, or working in peer pairs. Each game is designed for both general and special education!
FOR HOME USE:
All games are great for in-home use as well! They are great for use during spring break, summer break, holiday breaks, and as additional help or as homework!
Kids will enjoy sorting and identifying foods of all food groups with the fun graphics.
