First, Students need to cut out the 7 flipbook pages and layer the pages by their size and numbers.
Next, students need to glue the 7 pages together. They will do this by putting glue at the top of each page (above the dotted line). Then by connecting each page at the dotted line. Make sure students know that the pages should be glued smallest to largest. To help the students make sure their pages are in the correct order, I have labeled the page 2-7.
OR the teacher can have the students put the pages in the correct order and then staple the pages together for the students.

The food group papers (I usually staple these 7 pages into a packet to save time)
The students will need:
Scissors (If you did not make the flipbooks ahead of time)
I always like to have a Flipchart made to help guide the students with their notes of each food group. Have the students write about each food group and have the students find and list examples of foods in each food group.
