Store Policies (Please read before continuing.)
*Please do not take credit for my ideas or implementation. I have worked hard on my products and paid for many of the images I use on them.
*Please do not share paid items via e-mail or on “freebie” sites. Your purchase entitles you to a digital copy for your own use. You are, however, welcome to share any free item online if you also provide a link to my store.
*Please do not ask me to send you an editable copy of any product.
*If you find a typo, spelling error, or other “glitch” in a product, please give me a chance to fix the problem before leaving negative feedback. You may use the “Ask a Question” area to let me know of such “glitches.”
*Please take time to thoroughly read the product description before you purchase any item. If you still have questions about any item after reading the product description, please take time to post in the “Ask a Question” area. I will do my best to answer reasonable questions quickly.
As of 3 February 2015, this product has been overhauled. The price has been increased to reflect the added content.
This is the English version only. The Spanish version is forthcoming. Please be patient, my bilingual colleagues!
Here's what's included in this unit:
*One page-sized poster for every food group, including the "extra foods" group. Each poster includes pictures of foods in the group and gives an important fact about the food group.
*Two cut-and-paste worksheets. The "Can Pizza Be Healthy?" sheet briefly explains how pizza can be good for you, and gives students the chance to cut and paste healthy toppings on the pizza. The other activity, "Make a Healthy Meal," asks students to put together a healthy meal with the pictures on the page. (There's one "extra" food to see whether students understand the difference.)
*A set of 27 cards for sorting or question-response.
*A set of 7 task cards, including class or partner chat topics
*A set of 4 colorful bookmarks to copy and give to students either during or after the unit
